Andrey Yakushin

Andrey Yakushin joined the Bank of Russia in 2013 from the Federal Financial Markets Service of Russian Federation whose mandate was transferred to the Bank of Russia to form the Russian financial markets Megaregulator. He is in charge for disclosure regulation and promoting best corporate governance practices and responsible business conduct among Russian public companies as well as in financial institutions and responsible investing. He is also involved in the development of Russian market of sustainable finance.
Mr. Yakushin has a long experience of providing strategic and policy-making consulting services for the financial markets regulator as he worked as adviser to the Russian Federal Commission for the Securities Market / Federal Financial Markets Service since 2001 on the broad range of regulatory and policy issues aimed at the development of Russian financial markets. He took active part in drafting regulation of disclosure for corporate issuers and in drafting the new Corporate Governance Code recommended by the Bank of Russia to the Russian companies on comply or explain basis as well as in a number of corporate governance recommendations issued as Bank of Russia information letters in addition to the Corporate Governance Code.
