Business4Land is a flagship initiative of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). It unites the private sector behind the Convention’s mission to ensure the sustainable management of land and water resources.
Business4Land hubs are regional platforms connecting the initiative’s global agenda with national business communities.

Launch | August 25, 2026
The launch of the B4L Russia hub was formally announced on August 25 during an official Ecumene side event, held on the sidelines of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The establishment of the Business4Land Russia Hub was supported by the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation.
