The 30th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30) was held in Belem (Brazil) from 10 to 21 November 2025.

Under the auspices of the Ecumene Global Forum, a large series of expert interviews was held on the sidelines of COP30 and in a dedicated studio in Belem. Leading international experts and opinion leaders in the field of sustainable economy and climate took part.

The speakers discussed Russia’s priorities at COP30, key initiatives of the Brazilian Presidency and the current challenges of the Climate Agenda. Also in focus were sustainable supply chains, decarbonization of international transport, ways of raising private capital for adaptation financing, the role of natural gas in the decarbonization of economies, biodiversity and an equitable energy transition. We also discussed the BRICS countries’ objectives and priorities at COP30 with their representatives.

The Ecumene events at COP30 were moderated by Evgeny Khilinskiy, Vice President, Gazprombank.
