ECUMENE 2026

In 2026, for the sixth time in the history of the Ecumene Global Forum, a series of international business events is taking place, aimed at fostering long-term partnerships, expanding markets for responsible producers, and exchanging innovative solutions.

The key events will take place in person and will be available for online viewing on the official Ecumene website:

An event will be held as part of the meeting of the Regional Network of North-East Asian countries on combating desertification, land degradation and drought, which will take place from 25 to 27 June in Moscow, Russia.
The Fifth Anniversary Ecumene Global Forum will take place in September in Moscow, Russia
A side event will be held on the sidelines of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, which will take place from August 17 to 28 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Events will be held on the sidelines of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31), which will take place from November 9 to 20 in Antalya, Türkiye.

About

The Ecumene Global Forum is the only specialized platform in Russia supported by the United Nations since 2021, created to foster a global dialogue involving a broad range of high-level international experts in sustainable development. The Forum’s outcomes are annually presented at the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC. Since its inception, the Forum has hosted discussions with over 500 experts from more than 40 countries, and event broadcasts have been viewed by more than 1.5 million people.

One of the key focus areas of the Forum is the development of international cooperation in the context of environmental and climate agendas, including through direct dialogue between representatives of Russian and international business and expert communities.

The Forum’s Mission is to include Russia’s position in the global agenda of sustainable development.
