As the Forum in Moscow will be held on the eve of the UN Summit of the Future: Multilateral solutions for a better tomorrow (22-23 September 2024, New-York, USA), the following theme of the Panel is suggested: UN Summit of the Future: Goals of Sustainable Development after 2030.
The goals of the UNEP Panel discussion would be:
- Provide information about UN Science-Policy-Business Forum on the Environment.
- Accelerate efforts to meet our existing international commitments and take concrete steps to respond to emerging challenges and opportunities.
- Hold expert discussions on civil society contribution to achieve a world – and an international system – that is better prepared to manage the challenges we face now and, in the future, for the sake of all humanity and for future generations.
