PJSC Uralkali, JSC Uralchem and the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Nature (VOOP) concluded a strategic cooperation agreement at the SPIEF.

The agreement is aimed at the joint development of environmental activities, environmental protection and rational use of natural resources, increasing the level of responsibility in matters of environmental protection and the formation of a caring attitude to nature, as well as minimizing the negative impact of production on the environment and the formation of environmental consciousness.

Among the main areas of cooperation:

• Organizing and conducting joint themed events aimed at preserving and restoring natural resources and reducing the negative impact on the environment;
• Implementation of national state programs, which are in the sphere of interest of companies and VOOP;
• Independent expert assessments, technological and ecological expertise by the UNEP specialists;
• Development of eco-tourism and implementation of biodiversity conservation programs.
