Finance Initiatives of a Sustainable Future: How the UN is Changing the World of Finance
September 29, WED
/
12:00 - 13:00
What organizations define the rules of the game in the sustainable finance market? What makes it possible for the world's largest financial institutions to successfully integrate into the international system of responsible finance?
The United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) will become a locomotive of the new system.
This is a global partnership of the United Nations and the global financial sector, which brings together over 400 organizations, including major players in the banking and insurance sectors.
UNEP FI is also represented on the board of directors and works closely with the largest portfolio investment and asset management initiative, Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). PRI signatories manage more than $120 trillion in funds.
